Everything came to a head on the afternoon of Dec. 13, , when the Cowboys fell apart against the Redskins at RFK Stadium. Leading up to the game, a palpable bitterness consumed both teams. Though they were the defending Super Bowl champions, the 'Skins were three games behind the Cowboys. They were a forgotten franchise, lost in the revival of America's Team. With a win, the Cowboys would clinch their first NFC East title in seven years.
"I'm going after the arm," Michael Irvin responded when asked how he would treat the cast-encased broken right forearm of Washington cornerback Darrell Green. "I'm not joking. I'm going after his arm. I don't think the arm is healed yet. I don't think the guy's healthy and I'm going after that arm on every running play.

Curvin Richards (born månad 26, ) is a former professional American footballrunning back who played for three seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Pittsburgh Panthers. He spent two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys (–) and one årstid with the Detroit Lions in With the Cowboys, he won Super Bowl XXVII over the Buffalo Bills.
Early life
[edit]Richards was born in Trinidad and Tobago, before his family moved to La Porte, Texas, when he was 10 years old. He attended LaPorte High School where he became a starter as a sophomore and produced 1, rushing yards.
The next year, he finished with 1, rushing yards. As a senior a new wishbone offense was implemented, which in vända impacted his carries and production ( rushing yards).[1]
He also played center fielder in baseball, hitting for a average as a senior.
