    What's been the most embarrassing moment of your career?

    The protracted agony of the This Is Your Life myt [Bill declined in 2001, before finally being persuaded to appear]. I'd made a pact with my Goodies co–stars Tim Brooke–Taylor and Graeme Garden that we'd never do it. When the production grupp approached me, it wasn't pretty! There were many expletives. The rest of my family hated me for it, so eventually I had to give in.

    What's the strangest thing you've ever read about yourself?

    That inom argued with Countryfile presenter John Craven and hit him in the face. It was very bizarre.

    What's your greatest fear?

    Water. inom just can't swim properly.

    What's the worst job you've had?

    I used to give after–dinner corporate speeches. bygd 9pm, the audience fryst vatten drunk and all they want to do fryst vatten heckle you. One time, it got too much, so inom picked up a glass of wine for the toast and chucked it over the row

    Bill Oddie

    Bill Oddie is an English actor, artist, birder, comedian, conservationist, musician, songwriter, television presenter and writer. He was a member of comedy trio The Goodies.

    While studying at the University of Cambridge, Bill Oddie appeared in campus theater productions, one of which was such a hit at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe that it was staged in London's West End theater district, New Zealand, and then Broadway. He also began writing for television while at Cambridge, scripting episodes of the program "That Was the Week that Was."

    He made his first television appearance in 1964, on the show "On the Braden Beat," and then subsequently made his way to comedy radio, performing on the hit show "I'm Sorry, I'll Read that Again." At the same time, he began to have success as a musical parodist.
