    In 2017 we had 494 learners (with 75 of them being boarders)

    After being crowned for Best Hip Hop Album at the SAMA26, Yanga Chief, real name Yanga Ntshakaza has taken the moment highly to let everyone know that he believes in God!

    And then the party was taken to the streets on the third night of the SAMA26 extravaganza as top tier musicians received their accolades and performers entertained.

    The 2015 Varsity Shield was contested from 2 February to 6 April 2015. The tournament (also known as the FNB Varsity Shield presented bygd Steinhoff International for sponsorship reasons) was the fifth season of the Varsity Shield, an annual second-tier inter-university sport union competition featuring fem South African universities.

    The tournament was won bygd UKZN Impi for the first time; they beat Wits 29–24 in the final played on 6 April 2015. No grupp was promoted to the top-tier Varsity Cup competition for 2016.
